The FCAAP: concerted actions for the benefit of users

The Complaint Assistance and Support centre Gaspe Peninsula/Magdalen Island has been an active member of the Federation of the Complaint Assistance and Support centres (FCAAP) since it’s very beginning.

The mission of this group is to create sharing among the Complaint Assistance and Support centres and in order to carry out their mission, to represent them at the political, administrative, economic and professional level. Moreover, the Federation aims to provide a range of services for the CAAP, to support them in the evolution of their activities and to increase the influence of the assistance and support services offered by them to the Quebec population.

Through its expertise developed over the last fifteen years, the FCAAP exchanges with various organizations regarding the concerns of customers served by the CAAP. The Federation also takes a position regarding the bills that have an impact on the health and welfare of the population. Moreover, following an agreement with the Department of Health and Social Services, the Federation provides training for the personnel of all the CAAPS throughout Quebec

At its last annual general meeting, the FCAAP announced the nomination of Mrs. Nathalie Adams as President of the Board of Directors of the organization.

Director of the CAAP Gaspe Peninsula/Magdalen Islands and involved with the provincial organization for over 15 years, Mrs. Adams has an excellent knowledge of the files of the Federation as well as the issues that are of concern to them. There is no doubt that she will be able to guide the organization through the winds of change that are blowing from within.
